Operation Mt Bachelor

"Are we going to Mountain Bachelor, mama?"
Geared up with 80 cm skis (they are the cutest things I have ever seen) and snacks galore, we headed up to the mountain for a ski lesson with my friend Deena. I figured if she could get me up on a surf board, she would have no problem with Spencer.

I think he was just as excited about the chairlift as skiing and he took right to it waving and smiling coming down the hill. By his third run, he was doing most of it on his own with a couple of falls in between. He had one pretty good spill and loved to tell everyone that he almost broke his leg. We celebrated with a big cup of cocoa and extra whipped cream. Way to go buddy!

...and sassy as all get out. It must be a survival skill.

I LOVE playdough...

.....and anything else that keeps my children quiet and entertained for 54 minutes. Not that I was counting or anything.

Beachin' It

Spent the weekend at the beach in Manzanita. The forecast was rain, rain, and more rain, but we lucked out and got a couple of bluebird days. Pretty good for February, don't you think? I do love the beach.
